From 1974 to 1994 he specialized in the production of lithographs. From 1995 until today he concentrates his production in oil painting.

He participated in numerous exhibitions in New York, Tokyo, London, Quito, São Paulo and Munich. His first individual exhibition outside Brazil was in Toronto, at the Informal Art Gallery, in 1976. A catalog of his production was published in an individual exhibition in Hamburg, Amsa Gallery, 1991. His works are in the collection of many prestigious Brazilian museums, as MAM, Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo and the Brazilian Art Museum of FAAP. In Illinois, his works are permanently exhibited at the Lockport Gallery. In 2010, from July to October, a retrospective of his graphic work was exhibited in São Paulo, at the Caixa Cultural Center.
